What is the SCAN? You will receive a Thermal Scan and Surface EMG Scan through a system called the Insight Millennium. This state-of-the-art technology was developed by NASA and allows us to receive important information from your nervous system and detect areas of possible nerve interference. Nerve interference can affect your health whether you feel pain or not. What does the SCAN feel like? The nervous system scans that we perform are non-invasive since they are only receiving information from what your body emits. You will not feel any sensation from them, only light pressure from the measuring device itself. The tests are taken along the full length of the spine, so you will be asked to put on a gown. When do I see the result of the SCAN? You will receive a print-out of your scan results on your second visit, called the Report of Findings.
